I finally took the plunge and open-sourced Topics. You can find it at GitHub. I’ve used a BSD license so if you want, download the source and give it a spin.

I am still actively developing the application although at a slower pace. Perhaps you can contribute to the project and between us we can turn it into a great and useful application.
